As a former Company Commander during Operation Iraqi Freedom, I understand what it means to lead under pressure. Many of the soldiers I served with still reach out, telling me I was the most impactful leader they had during their time in the military. But when I returned to civilian life, I found myself facing a whole new battlefield—the unpredictable and often brutal world of business.

Since 2005, I’ve spent over 20 years building, failing, rebuilding, and succeeding in the trenches of entrepreneurship. I’ve lived through shifting economies, market collapses, reinventions, and rebirths. What I know didn’t come from textbooks—it came from experience.
